Pixee – Privacy Policy

Pixee ("we", "our", or "the app") is a photo slideshow application for Android TV that displays photos from your personal cloud storage. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Data We Access

Pixee accesses the following data to provide its service:

• OneDrive photos: with your permission, the app reads photo files and folder names from your Microsoft OneDrive account to display them in a slideshow.
• Dropbox photos: with your permission, the app reads photo files and folder names from your Dropbox account to display them in a slideshow.
• Locally cached photo metadata: file names, folder names, and modification dates are stored locally on your device to speed up loading. No photo content is stored permanently on the device.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

Pixee does not:

• Upload your photos to any server operated by us.
• Collect your name, email address, or any personally identifying information.
• Track your usage or browsing behaviour.
• Share any data with third parties for advertising profiling.

3. Authentication Tokens

To access OneDrive or Dropbox on your behalf, the app stores OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens locally on your device using Android's encrypted DataStore. These tokens are never sent to any server other than Microsoft's or Dropbox's own APIs. You can revoke access at any time by signing out inside the app or by removing app permissions in your Microsoft or Dropbox account settings.

4. Third-Party Services

Pixee integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

• Microsoft OneDrive / Microsoft Graph API – used to access your OneDrive photos.

• RevenueCat – used to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymised purchase information to process transactions.

5. Children's Privacy

Pixee is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

6. Data Removal & Account Deletion

Pixee does not store any personal data on its own servers. All data (OAuth tokens, cached photo metadata, and settings) resides exclusively on your device.

To remove all data stored by Pixee, you have two options:

• Sign out inside the app: go to Settings → Sign Out of OneDrive or Sign Out of Dropbox. This immediately removes all locally stored tokens and cached data for that account.
• Clear app data: go to your Android device's Settings → Apps → Pixee → Clear Data. This removes everything the app has stored locally.
• Uninstall the app: uninstalling Pixee removes all locally stored data automatically.

To remove data stored by Microsoft OneDrive, visit account.microsoft.com/privacy and manage your account and connected apps there.

To remove data stored by Dropbox, visit dropbox.com/account/connected_apps to revoke Pixee's access, or contact Dropbox support to request data deletion.

To submit a data removal request directly to us, send an email to R.C-Software97@proton.me with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Since we hold no personal data on our servers, we will confirm the steps above and assist you where possible.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
